The next Destiny update will add more variety to the game, bringing back some of the game’s old maps and modes, as well as a number of new weapons and perks.
In a new trailer, Bungie released a new gameplay feature that takes the player from the original Destiny to a new world in a way that’s “unmatched in history.”
The new gameplay mechanic allows the player to explore the new area in different ways.
The player is able to climb, swim, and run on a raft and jump over a cliff, for example.
The new footage shows the rafting mechanics in action.
The Destiny update’s release date was also announced during a press conference with Bungie co-founder and CEO Mike Wilson, with Wilson revealing the update will be released in October.
Wilson said the team had been working on Destiny since last year, and it was time to give the game another go, saying: “I’m very excited about what’s coming down the pike.
We’re trying to make sure that we’re delivering something that’s really special and that’s a real game-changer.”
The next time you play Destiny, I’m going to be excited and I’m really looking forward to seeing what we’ve got.
“Wilson also talked about the team’s plans for a new game mode called the Crucible, which will allow players to go head-to-head in a fight against other players online.
Wilson and his team plan to introduce the new game system in the new update, and he also revealed that Bungie will be updating the Destiny client in a few weeks to make the new system compatible with the Xbox One and PS4.
The game is slated to launch on October 29 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
