Nokia has just revealed that the next-gen Lumia will feature an entirely new user interface and the design of the handset will be radically different from previous models.
The company’s latest phone, the Lumia 950, is set to be released on October 28 and will offer a sleek new look and feel that is sure to delight users and fans alike.
The design of Nokia’s latest smartphone has already undergone a complete overhaul from the Lumia 920, which has received many improvements since the device was unveiled last year.
Nokia says that the new design will be the company’s first ever smartphone to be based on a smartphone operating system called Windows Phone 8.1, and the result will be a new phone that is completely different from any other smartphone on the market.
The Lumia 950 will feature a large screen that sits just above the device’s body, giving users access to all the features and functions of the device with the help of a capacitive touchscreen that is covered by a translucent plastic cover.
The display will also be made of glass, a much lighter material that Nokia says is easier to grip and hold.
The new phone will also feature a more traditional back panel, which is made of metal and is the most flexible in the smartphone industry.
It will have a traditional camera lens, the front-facing speaker and the back of the phone is made out of a soft silicone.
The phone will be available in black and silver.
A new model is also expected to be launched with a curved display, which Nokia says will be more aesthetically pleasing than the existing curved design.
A Nokia spokeswoman said: “The design will reflect the Nokia brand and its vision, with a large display that will give users access all the key features and services of the Lumia phone with a touch interface.”
“It will be different to any previous Lumia phone and we are confident the user experience will be as satisfying as ever.
We will deliver an outstanding experience to our customers, and we want you to know that.”
Nokia has also revealed the device will have the largest display of any smartphone in the world, which will give the device a huge size.
The device will be able to display 4,800 x 1,200 pixels and will have an 800 x 480 resolution display, giving the phone a screen size of 5.8 inches (14.2cm).
The new Nokia Lumia 950 has also been given a completely new design with a metal and glass back panel.
It is also said to be lighter and more durable than previous versions of the Nokia Lumia 920.
